Customer Review: Layeth the smacketh down on your candy (_|_) !
Though lacking the likes of The Rock, and the Undertaker, this is rather entertaining.

Graphically, or audibly, don't expect to be blown away. What you see in the pics is what you get. Definition is very low to the point you have to remember wrestler's tights color to keep track of him. There are no discernable profiles, nor WWE babes.
A sure sign that TV games have to get up to speed with SDTV resolution of 480 x 720.

On the plus side, after spending 15 minutes "learning the ropes" the game becomes fun. You can grapple, pile drive, and body slam opponents with combination presses of the joy-pad and "A" button. Here, an Irish Whip has nothing to do with your morning cup of joe.

There are the old "punch & kick" combinations, but the computer is on top of you so fast you hardly have time to execute them. Back up a little and slap the bejebus out of them. There are fun moves you can make like jumping off the ropes, if you aren't punched off, and fighting outside the ring. Count outs can be turned on and off and select easy, medium, and hard difficulty. You can even turn the music off which doesn't have the same soul stirring effect of the corporate music, so it adds little to the excitement. It's same music through out.

Wrestlers can work up their energy and when the power bar flashes, and the crowd roars, you can do signature moves like Chris Benoit's crippler cross face, or Eddie's Frog Splash by pressing "X". You even have moves like running drop kick, or clothes line.

If the computer play isn't doing it for you, buy a second one for "head to head" action. Odd, my controller didn't seem to come with a connecting cable to do that. So, where do I get it? Or is it still in my box? But this feature will let you and a friend create your own "dream matches" like Triple-H against John Cena. : WWE Raw Toys

The game options are simple exhibition for mindless action, tag team, elimination, and Champian matches. After you played them all and mastered the difficulty levels, you may find yourself wanting to "throw in the steel chair". I doubt we will see that here. This game is rated for ages 5+. But a few extra dollars on the "game key" will give new game options and levels. That's added value. I don't have the key yet, but I want to get it. : WWE Raw Toys

It's a fun little game once you really learn to exploit the moves. Such as standing up a downed opponent to inflict more harm while they wobble on their legs. Order two for some serious head banging, and the game key for more fun. : WWE Raw Toys

The resolution and sound is what hurts the game most, but it does have it's moments. If you watch WWE every week, you should certainly enjoy it. It truly is a kid's rendition. : WWE Raw Toys
